Sea Lake Entries Rolling In
Tuesday, 22 May 2012
The 2012 Australian Off Road Championship kicks into gear with round one in the Victorian mid north mallee town of Sea Lake on 8-10 June.

Entries are steadily rolling in for the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally and with the option for early entry open until Friday 25 May, the Sea Lake Off Road Club are extremely happy with the number of entries received so far.

Aaron Haby and the #57 Element Pro buggy one of the early nominations, ready to defend his 2011 Mallee Rally title, while brother Carl Haby, who finished second last year, will be looking to continue his winning success from last weekend Richard Bennett Memorial Enduro.

Class champions and class podium finishes from the 2011 Australian Off Road Championship have nominated across the classes; looking for a points haul for their 2012 campaigns.

The Sea Lake Off Road Club have been busy preparing the 85km track, and with just over two weeks to go before the off road machines take to the track in anger, the club are confident they’ll offer up one of the best Lake Tyrrell tracks in recent years.

June in Sea Lake is renowned for its chill factor, but for now, the weather conditions appear to be tracking in the events favour.

Entries for the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally close on Friday 1 June.  The event gets underway at 5pm on Friday 8 June with scrutiny at the Sea Lake Recreational Reserve.

Event Information, including competitor list as at 22 May 2012, can be found here.
