The team from offroadracing.com.au will be heading to the Victorian mid north this weekend for the first round of the Australian Off Road Championship to provide live coverage of the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally after an invitation from the organising committee of the Sea Lake Off Road Club.

"The club see the live coverage offered by offroadracing.com.au as an integral part of the AORC. It’s a valuable promotion tool for our event and offers great coverage for our sponsors. With over 115 entries, there will be friends and family at home that can't make the event plus a worldwide audience, and we wanted everyone to feel included in the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally experience" commented Alison McClelland, Event Secretary.

The Track PA Audio will be streamed live through your computer speakers while the typed commentary will be an as-it-happens observation of the event.

The offroadracing.com.au line up for 2012 Australian Off Road Championship events has some old and new faces, including Kendall Clarke resuming her role as the typed commentator. This will be Kendall’s third season with the typed commentary team. Assisting Kendall, and new to the team, is Leanne Walker. Leanne is a born and bred off roader and has competed both as a navigator and driver since she was old enough to hold a licence. Leanne knowledge of the sport is second to none, will add context and background to the commentary.

Our roving reporter for the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally will be offroadracing.com.au co-founder Murray Rogers, who will report back to the media centre all the happening from the pits. Murray is also responsible for all things technical in the media centre. Julie Rogers will coordinate the information flow from the timekeepers and event headquarters to the Media Centre and manage the Hot Spot and offroadracing.com.au upkeep.

The lead photographer for this weekend will be another new addition to the offroadracing.com.au team, John Lyden; time permitting, images will be regularly uploaded to the photo gallery. Due to work and travel commitments, our regular photographer and assistant typed commentator Daniel (Boof) Ziembinksi is unable to be part of the offroadracing.com.au AORC LIVE team. We hope that Boof will be back with us for 2013.

The offroadracing.com.au personnel will be wearing ‘team colours’ and talking to crews from scrutiny on Friday night to roving the pits during competition. Please don’t be shy, as the more information competitors reveal, the more detail that can be added to the commentary.

A WiFi Hot Spot will be accessible at the event to enable wireless access to the typed commentary and links to the results as they are provided by the organisers.
