Saturday, 07 July 2012
A very chilly minus two degrees greeted the earlier rises at the Griffith 350. As the sun, rose so did the temperature to reveal the perfect day for off road racing.

Unfortunately only 25 returned under their own steam. Stephen and Fiona Logan had fuel pump issues in the V8 powered Nissan #879 while the #161 Rivmaster of David and Jarrod Jackson succumbed to front right stub failure.

Andy Ryan and Justin Watt have put their home town advantage into play, topping the prologue time sheets in the Saber #113 with a 17 second lead over Steven and Reckell Jones in the #166 Chenowth.

David and Alice Middlemiss rounded out the prologue podium in the Cougar #117. David and Jarrod Jackson failed to front the prologue start lights but will be seeded into the race start order.
