To date a field of 70 off road racers have nominated including the Australian Off Road Championship round 1 top two podium placers Brad Prout and Matt Hanson. Add to the mix the two car teams of Outer Bounds Racing, Rose Racing, Team Taylor, Move Yourself Trailer Hire and Brown Racing, the three car Chapman Off Road Racing team, local names of Joe Bulmer, Michael Napier and Mick Phillips, just to touch the surface of the quality field that will be heading to South Queensland the first weekend in August.

Guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser will be the Extreme 2WD class with three impressive Chev powered Geiser Brothers Trophy Trucks entered, including Tatts Finke Desert Race victor Brad Gallard, Beau Robinson in his second run on Australian soil and Billy Geddes. Facing off against the Geiser Brother Trophy Trucks will be the Mickey Thompson Rush Truck #402 of Chris Western and the Titan Trophy Truck #442 of Danny Brown.

The Extreme 4WD class is also shaping up with the Raana Horan leading the charge for his New Zealand team after a strong debut showing at the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally. Colin Hunter and Clayton Chapman are among a cast of ten in the class looking to make the most of the home track advantage and claim championship points.

With the track shaping up to be the best in recent memory, contact the Goondiwindi Motorsports Club if you want to be part of the show.
