The Pinjarra Engineering Race Team of Justin Steadman and Mal Yeardley have taken provisional outright honours at the 2012 Marsue Transport Mogumber 240 after 150 kilometres of racing today, totaling 240 kilometres for the weekend.

Overnight leaders Eric and Neil Phillips suffered a flat tyre and, not carrying a spare, surrendered the lead to a charging Steadman.

In a one two finish for the Pinjarra Engineering team, team owner Brad Cooper with Phillip Shepley #968 in the navigator’s seat crossed the finish line provisionally in second outright.

Steadman commented moments after finishing the two day event “the track was magic, very good indeed. It was rough, yet very responsive. It was difficult track to drive and didn’t give you any respite, a real driver’s track. The Mickey Thompson Tyres handled it with ease.”

Shane Elphinston and Warren Fenell have taken third outright in their debut race in the ex Ken Styles Holeshot #44. With a stewards hearding pending this week, results are provisional.
