Get Ready for the Pines
Monday, 13 August 2012
The annual Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro 400 is again a round of the Australian Off Road Championship. Held on the 7th-9th of September, the Pines Enduro is the third round of the Australian Off Road Championship and the fifth round of the South Australian Off Road Championship.

Every year the event requires a substantial amount of work from local club members, with this year’s event no different. With the event running a week later this year than usual, the organisers are hoping for another successful weekend of off road racing.

It is the Millicent Sand Buggy Clubs local event and everybody on the committee is busy preparing for the event. The renowned Teagle Quarry arena is in pristine condition and looking great as always, with it being a one of a kind event where spectators can see multiple cars racing at the same time.

The major event sponsors are Teagle Excavations, a local company based in Millicent and the land owner of Teagle’s Quarry, together with ARB 4x4 Accessories and Hards Transport. The Millicent Sand Buggy Club would like to thank these major sponsors for their contribution to the event, because without them this event wouldn’t be able to run.

The two day event is run through Teagle’s Quarry and the Mount Burr Pine Forest. The Millicent Sand Buggy Club would also like to acknowledge ForestrySA for their on-going support by providing access to the forest.

Teagle’s Quarry is a spectator friendly area and has a great family atmosphere. There is a great spectator area as well as semi-trailers for spectators to sit if the weather turns nasty.

The 2011 Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro was a great success. The weather held out and the forest track kicked up some dust and with some great close racing at the pointy end of the field and great battles through the classes.

The 2012 Teagles Excavations ARB Pines Enduro is set to be a must do event on the calendar and shouldn’t be missed. Entries close on 31st August, so get your entries in and head south to tackle the infamous forest tracks.
