After being well represented at the Albins Off Road Gear Goondiwindi 400, four Warialda cars and crews will travel to the Hunter Valley this weekend for round 5 of the New South Wales Off Road Championship, the 2012 Hedweld Milbrodale Mountain Classic.

Frogs Hollow racing will be taking a three car team into battle with current New South Wales outright championship leader Derek Rose leading the crew in his #279 Super 1650 machine, looking for more points in chase of an ultimate NSW championship and another class title. Rose already holds a strong lead over his teammate Michael Densley.

Michael ‘Pickles’ Densley in his #280 machine will be looking to build on his strong finish at his last start in Griffith to cement his second position in the Super 1650 class title race and move closer to the outright contenders, as he currently sits in fifth position.

Luke Gilkinson has been busy rewiring, building and priming his old pink #239 Rivmasta, with this weekend being his first race for the season, he will be keen to attack the mountains with everything he has got and will be one to watch in class on Sunday if everything goes to plan.

Mark Sankey in his single seater Horn buggy #111 is firing and ready to go after front end repairs post the Warialda event. Sankey is eager to hit the track and will be at the front end of the field if he can shake his Milbrodale curse.

The Warialda crews would like to wish all competitors, crews and the committee a successful weekend of racing at Milbrodale. They encourage everyone interested in off road racing to head out to the track, just out of Singleton to experience some of the most exciting off road racing on the planet. So get on out to the Bulga track this weekend and cheer and support for the Warialda teams, cars #279, #280, #239 and #111 are the numbers to look out for on race day!
