Wynarka Ready to Rock and Roll
Wednesday, 15 August 2012
In what will be a busy weekend of off road racing with four states taking to the track, the Summit Racing Team will be hosting round 4 of the South Australian Off Road Racing Association Series at their Wynarka track, less than two hours drive from Adelaide.

The Summit team have been working hard over the past 12 months to improve the track with tonnes of filling added to the course. With more work still to be done, competitors none the less should notice the difference and find the conditions much improved on recent years.

Although a relatively small field have nominated, there are some big names amongst the 23 entries and sure to be a crowd pleaser. Topping the list of must see would have to be Brad Gallard and Scott Modistach taking the #454 Greiser Brothers Trophy Truck for another spin after their win at the Albins Off Road Gear Goondiwindi 400 and the Tatts Finke Desert Race in June.

A field of heavy weight Pro buggies will have Gallard in their sights with the likes of James Copeland, Ivan Schmocker, Trevor Copeland and the Haby Brothers all quick peddlers. Not to be underestimated, the ProLite contingent will have Lindsay Foster leading the charge fresh from his MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally third outright.

Prologue gets underway at on Saturday at 1.30 with a three lap race going green at 3:30. A further eight laps on Sunday will test the spirits of even the hardened off roaders.
