Schmocker Returns to the Track
Friday, 12 October 2012
While the Kadco may be resting in peace, Ivan Schmocker and the Schmocker Racing Team are not resting laurels after the devastating fire, about to take possession of their new drive, the #56 Element Racing Pro buggy campaigned this year by Carl and Tammy Haby.

“We will pick up the buggy tomorrow and head to the ladies and juniors race at Wynarka on Sunday where Mark (son and navigator) will take it for its first run under the Schmocker Racing banner. I’m not sure why it seems to work out when I but a new buggy, Mark is the first on to race it”.

Mark Schmocker will be one of eight ladies and juniors taking to the track when sons, wives and girlfriends get the chance to take the reins of the machines they more often than not navigate in.

Jai Loader will be doing his best to put down faster laps than Dad Jeff in the Chevarra Racing #513 Navarra at the Wynarka track while Annie Galliford will be taking control of the Jimco #97 with partner Trevor Copeland watching from the left seat.

Naiomi Vanderwoude will be doing her best to fly the flag for the ladies and the tin tops with husband Darran guiding around the course.

The ladies and juniors will take to the 10 kilometre track for 12 laps on Sunday at noon preceded by a qualifying session at 11:15am.
