The Sunraysia Motor Sports Club is ecstatic to announce the return of racing at the legendary Tapio Station 15km north of Mildura.

1730b_sm Named after Tapio Station’s iconic owner Billy Barnfield, the Barnfield Bash 300 fits nicely into the race calendar on the weekend of April 20th and 21st. Tapio’s challenging tracks make the race a great early season shake down with six laps of 50km to be run over the two days. Low entry fees, camping at the track, and a competitor friendly time schedule, are all designed to make the Barnfield Bash 300 a highly competitive race and a fantastic weekend.

1730c_sm Club president Steve Allen said, “it is the club’s goal to have a challenging, family friendly race at a reasonable price. The Barnfield’s have kindly provided their property and the club is committed to creating a great race for all levels of competitors. Whilst the race is Round 2 of the 2013 Mallee Shield Inter-Club Challenge we anticipate a high level of entrants wanting to just come and race again at Tapio and have a great weekend. “

1730d_sm Further information on racing the Barfield Bash 300 will be available in the supplementary regulations which are currently at CAMS , or can be obtained by contacting Kaylene Philp on 0428 230915.

Put this one in your calendar and help celebrate 40 years of off road racing in Sunraysia.
