The Griffith Off Road Club have preparations well in hand for the ARB Griffith 400 to be held on 13th and 14th of July. The recently acquired and refurbished ablutions block, which includes eight hot and cold running showers, is about to be transported to its new home at Stackpoole.

The Supplementary Regulations are currently going through the official processes, but we can release that the track will be 80km long with competitors completing five laps around the Stackpoole property.

1932b_sm The event gets underway on Friday night with scrutiny and documentation, for those competitors who haven’t made the most of the regional scrutiny options across New South Wales and Melbourne.

Saturday sees reconnaissance, prologue and one lap of the full course with a further two laps on Sunday morning, followed by a compulsory hour service break, finishing with two more laps of the 80km track.

The ARB Griffith 400 will be self-contained at the Stackpoole venue with full camping facilities available and catering provided by the Rotary Club.

The Grifith Off Road Club will be the first of the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series events to use an online entry system which will allow competitors to register and pay online. However, this requires all competitors and pit crew to sign a copy of the entry and disclaimers at the event's documentation to ensure compliance with the NCR's of CAMS prior to being issued with passes.

A fuel service will be available at the track, provided by Jason Dann of Fuel Fuel – Race and Rally Motorsport Fuel Service. They are able to have in stock at the track 98 as well as other common racing fuels. Competitors wishing to make use of this service can contact Jason Dann on 0407 314 743.

The ARB Griffith 400 will be round 4 of the New South Wales Off Road Championship and the second round of the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series.
