TJM Pro Locker - Lockyer 300 is the new name for the final round of the 2013 Australian Off Road Championship.

The TJM Pro Locker- Lockyer 300 organising committee and Brisbane Sporting Car Club are proud to announce their new partnership with TJM, manufacturers of the TJM Pro Locker, as the major sponsor for the 2013 event.

Established in 1973, TJM is a proud Australian company manufacturing quality 4x4 accessories in Queensland. Products, such as the TJM Pro Locker are built using the latest manufacturing and engineering technologies, and are put through stringent testing and quality assurance procedures to guarantee a superior product. The TJM Pro Locker - Lockyer 300 will provide the ultimate testing ground to showcase the proven performance of the Pro Locker amidst terrain that is as rugged as it is diverse.

1947b_sm Barry Neuendorff, President of the Brisbane Sporting Car Club and 2013 TJM Pro Locker-Lockyer 300 Clerk of Course said “We are extremely proud to have this Queensland company joining forces with us and giving back to the off road community, by supporting our event. This inspires the Organising Committee even more, to produce an event beyond all expectations for the Queensland and for the fifth and final round of the 2013 Australian Off Road Championship and Round 4 of the Queensland Off Road Championship”.

The latest work on the course has made major improvements to the track. The changes will allow more opportunities for passing as well as providing easier access for recovery vehicles to assist broken or damaged race vehicles without causing huge delays to the event.

The creek crossings, that were completely washed away, were the biggest challenge as they had to be moved downstream and some new tracks made to access them. There was also some major damage up on the hills where the excessive rain washed away sections of the course. The track crew are currently sourcing pipes to provide improved crossings of the creek.
