With 60+ entries received so far, the Griffith Off Road Club are optimistically excited about the upcoming ARB Griffith 400 Round 2 of the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series.

2035b_sm The club has undertaken major work to the pit, paddock and camping areas, including the installation of a shower block. With everything in place and Stackpoole in picture perfect condition the club awaits the arrival of the competitors and their teams in just under two weeks’ time.

Entries for the event close on Friday 5th July and need to be done online. With the Hi-Tech Oils Waikerie Enduro running this weekend, after the close of Griffith entries, the club will offer a full refund to anyone who enters both events but breaks at Waikerie and is unable to make it to Griffith. They do stress however, that the entry and payment must be received by Friday 5th July.

2035c_sm Marking of the 80km course is now complete and final preparations of the paddock area will take place at a working bee this weekend after the close of entries and finalising of competitor numbers.

The team from Fuel Fuel - Race and Rally Motorsport Fuel Service will also be at Griffith providing their mobile fuel service to competitors after their successful launch into off road racing at Sea Lake. With limited access to fuel in the area, this option should prove popular to competitors. The Goolgowi Service Station is open 9am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday but does not stock 98 octane fuel. The closest service station stocking 98 octane fuel is in Griffith which is 70km from the track. It is also advisable to plan fuel for your transporters/tow vehicles as fuel will be difficult to get for those leaving the track Sunday afternoon.

2035d_sm “We do ask that anyone wanting fuel contact us before hand to place their order. Then we can ensure that we have enough fuel to cover everyone’s requirements, and you only pay for what you use” commented Jason Dann from Fuel Fuel. Competitors wishing to make use of this service can contact Jason Dann on 0407 314 743.

Full catering will be available at Stackpoole from Friday night with the local Rotary club and they will serving up a scrumptious menu of chicken or steak with vegetables, salad and chips for Saturday night dinner. The local saw mill has also donated two semi loads of red gum for camp fires to keep the campers toasty warm at night.
It is planned to bring the start of Documentation and Scrutiny at Stackpoole forward to 2:00pm on Friday 12th July. This will be confirmed in the Further Regulations that will be issued for the event.

Track and Venue Maps are now available on the events page

Entries for the event close on Friday 5th July and can only be submitted here online.
