Upgrades for G&T Racing
Wednesday, 10 July 2013
The G&T Racing team of Tony Fehlhaber and Gary Howell had a busy summer with a major preseason overhaul to their #138 Chenowth ProLite.

The preseason upgrade included fitting a six throttle body system sourced from England and extensive dyno time.

2049b_sm After a very disappointing engine failure with the Nissan VQ35 at the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally ARB 350, the first round of the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series, the G&T Racing team have entered into an agreement with Ron Milton Motorsports, now based in Queensland, to supply and service a new VQ35DE engine.

Ron Milton is a name well known in Australian Off Road Racing for not only his driving ability, but his vast engineering experience in building race engines.

“After extensive research and a new throttle body system developed by Milton Motorsports, there has been no expense spared with the build of this engine” commented Tony Fehlhaber, team owner.

The G&T Racing Team with the #138 Chenowth in tow are heading to Griffith in the Riverina region of New South Wales for the second round of ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series, the ARB Griffith 400.

The team will leave Brisbane early to spend time in Sydney to dyno and tune the new engine. Ron Milton will make sure all that can, and will be done, to make this engine successful.

Fehlhaber continued “Griffith will be a real test for the team, with a lot of pressure to gain some points towards the ARB Series”.
