Replay XD Returns To The AORC In 2014
Thursday, 13 March 2014
The Australian Off Road Championship has confirmed that ReplayXD onboard cameras will again be the official action camera of the 2014 Championship and a vital part of this year’s television programming and social media content.

ReplayXD are the smallest, lightest, most rugged and versatile High Definition onboard cameras on the market, and more than 100 ReplayXD 1080 cameras were used across the vast field of competitors last year during the five-event season.

The Championship never looked better thanks to ReplayXD cameras capturing supreme High Definition video quality, with vision used as a key component to all of last year’s Championship television programs broadcast on Seven, 7mate and Speed TV Australia and social media including the official AORC YouTube channel.

With the recently unveiled ReplayXD 1080 Mini weighing only 60 grams and small enough to be mounted in the tightest of spaces on any Pro Buggy or Trophy Truck, television viewers will again be taken right amongst the highly competitive racing thanks to the dozens of different onboard angles possible.

“Of all the action cameras available to us, ReplayXD is the perfect fit for the Championship, “ said HPSM’s Bron Humphrey. “The quality of the vision is outstanding, their small size means that we can be creative in where we can record vision on the competition vehicles, and that leads to television programs and video content of the highest standard to show the sport in the best possible light.

“It’s also important that we have a camera that lasts in the conditions we race, plus also lasts race distance due to the competitors sometimes running for hours on end. We can’t afford to miss any racing action for our television programs and ReplayXD has all of that covered. We really can’t be more happier to have ReplayXD back onboard in 2014.”

Round one of the 2014 Australian Off Road Championship will be the Kalgoorlie 400 in Western Australia on the Easter long weekend (April 18-20) with ReplayXD coverage from that event being published on AORC social media and YouTube platforms. The first television program featuring ReplayXD vision will go to air nationally in May with details to be confirmed.
