The Australian Off Road Championship has more free-to-air and digital exposure in store thanks to Telstra’s sports news program SportsFan Clubhouse and Telstra T-Box, starting this week right around Australia.

Hosted by respected broadcaster Bill Woods, the hour-long SportsFan Clubhouse program will feature highlights of the Championship throughout the 2014 season. The AORC will have a regular spot on the program with Start Me Up Racing’s Matt Hanson making the first appearance as a live panellist beginning this Thursday night.

SportsFan Clubhouse is broadcast via SportsFan TV – the online channel formerly known as BigPond Sport – and incorporates all the latest sports news, results and highlights of various sporting codes including NRL, AFL, football, cricket, tennis and other Australian and international sports. In addition, all of the AORC racing action from this year and last year will be broadcast with multiple screenings of each episode on SportsFan TV.

SMU Racing’s Matt Hanson said he’s looking forward to help spread the word out about the Championship.

“The Australian Off Road Championship has long been one of the best kept secrets in motorsport so to have our program broadcast on SportsFan TV and be invited onto a show like SportsFan Clubhouse on a regular basis is just another step forward for us to reach a whole heap of new fans," said Hanson.

“Being on free-to-air TV and online not only gives the sport extra exposure but commercially it helps teams give their sponsors some extra value, and potentially help attract more sponsors as well.”

Watch SportsFan Clubhouse this Thursday April 10th at 8pm via www.sportsfan.com.au, on mobile phones via the iPhone and Android Apps, or on Channel 989 on Telstra T-Box. The show will also be broadcast on 7mate at 11.30pm.
