Mother’s Day at Burdekin

2453d_sm A fine and sunny forecast for the second round of the Total Off Road North Queensland Super Series this Mother’s Day weekend, the 10 - 11 May, at Burdekin.

The popular venue at the Ayr Rifle Range on Ayr-Dalberg Road will host 12 laps of a 12km track, with its trademark mixture of open flats and tight technical sections, including the spectator friendly motocross section before the finish line.

2453b_sm 16 confirmed entries include Brock and Adele Sievers in their Mason TrophyLite, Talbot Cox and Jayson Robert in the Racer Engineering Pro buggy, Chris Colbourne in his Jimco ProLite, Jeffery Marson in his Kadco ProLite, the RZR Polaris 900’s of Brian, Graham, Peter and Greg Moohin, the Polaris 1000’s of Nick and Nathan Hayden, and the Pro buggy Sollittico of Andrew Sollitt.

Free camping and facilities are available at the track, and once again the Claire Amateur Anglers Club will be cooking up a storm from Friday night until Sunday lunch time.

2453c_sm Series sponsor representative Brent Taylor from Total Offroad will be onsite and available to talk to racers and spectators about all off road and racing needs.

Online entry via the CAM’s website is open for this race until Saturday morning. Scrutiny will take place from 7-8.30am on Saturday morning, with the reconnaissance lap immediately after. For more information on the event please contact Michael Marson.
