2702b_sm The Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro 400 kicked off with three teams taking the opportunity to showcase off road racing with at visits to the local schools.

The roar of the buggies engines still weren’t quite loud enough to drown out the excited voices of students when Diverse Racing’s Trent Gravestock and Ausweld Lineboring Racing’s Daniel Lamb spent the morning at Tenison Woods College in Mt Gambier and Erceg Motorsport’s Luke Erceg and Daniel Ziembinski at the Newberry Park Primary School in Millicent.

2702c_sm “We did a talk with the students about the Pines Enduro and about the buggies; I've never seen so many kids climbing in-out and over the buggies, they had a fantastic time” explained Daniel Lamb.

“The kids loved it. Luke now has writer’s cramp from signing so many autographs” added Ang Oldaker, event representative.

Following their school visit, the Erceg Motorsport team headed out into the Pine Forest for a photo shoot for a local photography school - Steve Chapple Photography – giving the students the opportunity to capture the Matrix #151 is varying light scenes and positions.2702d_sm

Teams then headed to Teagle's Quarry for scrutiny where the 85 nominated cars went through their safety checks and put on display for the gathering fans. Drivers and navigators had the chance to meet and greet the crowd, sign posters and talk to fans.
