2953b_sm Good news for the diehard Goondiwindi racer with the release of the supplementary regulations and online entry form for this year’s running of the Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400. A must do event on the off road racing calendar for many teams; the Queensland event is synonymous for its melon holes and Malapunya Run and attracts competitors looking to compete on one of the toughest tracks around.

Mick Phillips, event representative from the Goondiwindi Motorsports Association explained “the Gundy track has something for everyone. It is challenging, but it does suit all classes. I race a Super 1650 and this year the organising committee would like to see a lot of entries, including a swag of entries in the Super 1650 class”.

2953c_sm As the only round of the Queensland Off Road Championship and the third round of the ARB Off Road Racing Series, the scene is set for potentially a bumper field and, as always, a fantastic event. With entries opening yesterday, three eager teams have already nominated for the event with Victorians’ Richard McNay and Aaron Blacksell and the #564 Holden Commodore looking to add to their bank of ARB Off Road Racing Series points come the weekend of 8th and 9th August.
