Venue Upgrade for Goondiwindi
Friday, 17 July 2015

The ARB Off Road Racing Series has reached the half way point for its 2015 season, having staged the first two rounds, the ARB Griffith 400 and the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally ARB 350 in the first half of the year.

Preparations are well underway for the Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400, scheduled for the 7-9 August, with the Goondiwindi Motor Sports Association undertaking some major venue works in the recent months.

Work has also been done around the track with the installation of some drainage pipes to alleviate the need for cars to drive though a section of standing water. A new short length of track, which runs parallel to Malapunyah Run, has been added to bring the action closer to the spectators, all be it a brief viewing, it will be a great indication of on track positions as cars head into the final 10km of the course.

34 nominations have been received to date and with under 10 days to nominate to be included in the printed event program (26th July) and with the close of entries at midnight on 30th July, it’s time to head to the OnLine Event Entry System [click here] and submit your entry for the Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400, touted as one of the toughest yet fun off road tracks around.
