This weekend the final round of the 2016 ARB Off Road Racing Series will bring the pine forest of Millicent, South Australia, alive as 60 plus entries line up.

Included in this year’s competitor list will be three Tasmanian teams - Watkins, Bott and Boon - all currently on route to South Australia.

The Pines will be Stephen Watkins third ARB Series event this year, and to date he sits on top of the Performance 2WD leader board and seventh outright. Watkins will have navigator Teagan Roberts on board for her first look at Millicent strapped into the team's Performance 2WD Toyota Tacoma.

Darren Bott and Glenn Williams have their Extreme 4WD GU Patrol ready for its first ARB Series event for 2016; the pairing ready to go after disappointingly missing Sea Lake earlier in the year.

Also lining up for his first look at the Pines will be current Tasmanian State champion, Chris Boon in his Hayabusa ProLite.

Scrutiny gets underway Friday evening for the teams with Prologue Saturday followed by a 3 lap short course sprint on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday will see the long course gates open up for the first time for the weekend; 6 x 70km laps are the order this year on some of Australia's best off road tracks.
