CAMS have issued Technical Bulletins regarding the use of balaclavas, roof nets and vehicle requirements for Superlite and Sportslite.

Bulletin B17/002 states “the Off Road, Specific Requirements for Off Road Vehicles, 4. Superlite are amended to permit the replacement of a fuel tank.”

Bulletin B17/003 states “The Off Road, Specific Requirements for Off Road Vehicles, 4. Sportslite are amended to apply an engine inlet air restrictor for each 4 cylinder 1600cc (swept volume) forced induction engine.”

Bulletin B17/004 states “The Off Road, General Requirements for Off Road Vehicles are amended to remove the requirement for a window net to be fitted to a vehicle with an opening roof whereby each occupant choose not to wear a wrist/arm restraint on each arm. It is now a mandatory requirement for each vehicle fitted with an opening roof that each occupant must have a wrist/arm restraint on each arm.”

Bulletin B17/005 states “The CAMS Manual of Motor Sport, General Requirements for Cars and Drivers Schedule D Apparel, is amended to revise the requirement for a Balaclava in the Off Road discipline. This amendment will apply the requirement to wear a Balaclava for any Open Face Helmet and for a Helmet that is listed in Level B for participants in Off Road.
