ARB Sunraysia 400 - Discounted Entries Closing Soon
Thursday, 06 April 2017
It is a very busy year for the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series campaigners with the second round just over two weeks away. Discounted entries for the ARB Sunraysia 400 close midnight Friday night with premium entries open for another week.

To date 54 teams have nominated for the event, which takes in four laps of the 100km track through the Keera Station farmlands.

Sunraysia Motor Sport Club president Jason Hannig said “for the teams that plan on arriving early, you are more than welcome to camp at track from Thursday onwards.”

Reconnaissance of the enduro track will be Friday morning with teams leaving the start line at Keera Station at 10:00am. Scrutiny and the Midura Rural City Council Show n Shine will again be on the riverfront at Nowingi Place in Mildura on Friday afternoon/evening following on from last years’ success.

Jason Hannig continues “last year we trialled a new method for scrutiny, which worked exceptionally well, so we will be adopting it again this year. We’re expecting a large number of spectators and it is a better experience if all the cars are in place before the spectators start to arrive.” Nowingi Place is located along Hugh King Drive on Mildura's riverfront, with its facilities focussed on community events. The area includes a playground, BBQ facilities, public toilets and bike paths.

Keera Station will be a hive of activity in the weeks leading up to the event with the track marking teams out in force. Now is an ideal time to remind competitors, spectators and anyone attending the Sunraysia 400 that Keera Station is a working station, therefore strict NO DOGS and NO GLASS rules will be in place; please assist the organisers in policing this.

“The land you are camping on during the event is a privately owned station. We are exceptionally grateful to the property owners, and need to respect the fact they have allowed us to use Keera Station” explained Jason Hannig, club president.

Full catering, bar and amenities will be available at both scrutiny and the start finish venue throughout the ARB Sunraysia 400 weekend.
