The Waikerie Hotel ARB Riverland Enduro is set for an almost perfect weekend of off road racing. A packed field of 100 of the best offroaders from all over Australia are converging on Waikerie this weekend to put on a show for the large crowd expected in near perfect conditions.

The track has received a few showers of rain this week which will dampen what was expected to be a very dusty race, making it much easier for competitors and spectators, especially in the busy conditions of the first lap. The weather is expected to be warm sunny days for both Saturday and Sunday with temperatures in the low twenties and a light breeze will be blowing the dust away from the spectating area.

The packed field is going to provide plenty of fierce competition, starting from the top in the unlimited class. Australia #1 Jack Rhodes and #2 Aaron Haby will be driving as hard as they can to get the upper hand but won't have it all their own way with plenty of talent throughout the field able to snatch the lead. With names like Rana Horan, Andy and Danny Brown, Talbot Cox, Scott Schiller, Michael Marson and Aaron James, all capable of a podium finish.

The talent isn't all just in the Unlimited class with class 4 and 1 also capable of podium finishes. Seasoned local Brad Gallard will have his work cut out in class 4 with Greg Gartner in his brand new Gieser Truck, always super quick, along with Dave Fellows in the ex Gallard turbo Gieser truck and Carl Haby who also is a seasoned local in yet another Gieser truck, all more than capable of placing in the top spots.

The Class 1 field will also be full of action and potential, with Dale Martin #101 the current ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series Points leader coming up against some stiff competition with a packed field. Local Waikerie racers Lindsay Foster #178 along with James Lochert #171 will be using their home track advantage to maximum benefit along with experienced campaigner Tony Fehlhaber #138. Brett Smith #161 will be looking to step it up in his new Southern Cross Next-gen, whilst young gun Troy Duff #124 has proven he is as good as any twice his age.

What is going to be a big drawcard are all the new cars that will have rev heads drooling at the Scrutiny Show and Shine. Hard hitter Greg Gartner's new #410 Gieser truck fresh from the states has been grabbing a lot of attention along with Gary Simpsons #404 Rush Truck built by local Chris Western and being driven by Pat McCauley and both will be on view for fans to cast an eye over.

There are also other fresh new cars that have only just cut their teeth at one or two races including Jack Rhodes new Jimco, Sam Vanston's #252 locally fabricated Rids Race Frames Joker and Paul Youman in the #427 Fusion truck.

Make sure you don't miss all the fun, get yourself trackside for some of the best offroad action, you can get anywhere in Australia. For those unable to make it to the track, stay up to date with the live results via offroadracing.com.au
