The son and father combination of Bryce and Bruce Chapman took outright honours at this weekend’s Hunter Rivmasta Off Road 200 at Warialda in Northern New South Wales.

With a total race time of 2h49m29.182s, they drove their Chev V8 powered Jimco Champion Pro buggy to victory, backing up their outright win from the 2015 Warialda event; the last time the event was run as wet weather saw the 2016 event cancelled.

Second to greet the checkered flag, and just 1m45.510s behind the Chapmans was Mick Napier and Scott Coleman; the Goondiwindi pairing completing the 213km of off road racing in the Ron Milton Motorsports Chev LS2 powered Mendeola in a total race time of 2h51m14.692s.

The Rutherford Mufflers entry of Justin Guy and Eric Hume were 48.785seconds shy of Napier to take third position on the Hunter Rivmasta Off Road 200 podium.
