Fresh from securing back to back Warialda 200 victories last month, Runamuk spearhead Bryce Chapman and navigator Mitchell Warren are set to unleash at this upcoming weekend’s 2017 Nabiac Airport Challenge for a first time in the team’s #58 Jimco Champion.

Warialda was the perfect weekend for the team; Bryce and father Bruce guided the Jimco through the dust to the top step of the podium for a remarkable ninth time. This was to be Runamuk’s last outing for 2017. With the car performing faultlessly, excitement of new terrain and riding high in confidence, Runamuk have cut short their off season to hit the Nabiac Aerodrome flying.

Entering new grounds is an enjoyable mission for Chapman whose last maiden outing resulted in a second outright finish at St George earlier in the season. Nabiac is well renowned for its fast, rough, sand based track featuring the famous airstrip, will be unlike any other track Chapman has faced previous, however, there will be no holding back.

With a high quality field of over 40 cars entered for the New South Wales Off Road Championship finale, Chapman is aware of the advantage other leading contenders with Nabiac experience obtain. “We have nothing to lose. Competing at a brand new track against very fast competitors is a test we are really looking forward to it – bring it on” stated an eager Chapman.

Feeling great with no expectations is a strong indication and warning to the rest of the field that once Runamuk cross the mountain Friday they will mean business.

Runamuk would once again like to thank all their sponsors for their continued support including; TPE, BCE, Rabbit Electrical, GRC Motorsport, RaceTrans, BN Motorsport and BF Goodrich Tyres.

Stay tuned for the aftermath of Runamuk’s Nabiac debut!
