With only two events left on the 2017 off road calendar, this weekend sees the last chance for New South Wales teams to hit the track. The scene is set for some great racing at Colo Park for the Ray Vesty Crookwell Memorial and the Sydney Off Road Racing Association’s Come And Try Driver Training and Khanacross events.

The Driver Training and Khanacross will be held on Saturday 2nd December before the big toys take to the Colo Park course on Sunday for the annual Ray Vesty Crookwell Memorial. As the final round of the ORW Short Course Masters and the SORRA Club Championship, points are on the line.

Who will greet the starter this weekend;  Jan Kraaj #40 has been working on his Pro buggy for nearly three 3 years now and is ready for a shake down driver this weekend; making the trek from Queensland for its maiden test run.

David Nikiforoff is stepping out of his #1090 Superlite buggy to enable son Matthew to drive with Mum, Maria Racosta navigating for her young charge. Second son Daniel is driving the families #390 Sportsman buggy with Karl Neil in navigator’s seat; a great sign of the strength in junior racing in the SORRA club.

Pro buggy #80 is being driven by David Towers with Dad Glen, in the navigators seat. Penny Ramsay #247 has Olivia Nikiforoff in with her for the days racing. #211 Scotty Brown with Karina Yates doing the pointing work for this event will be looking for a good clean run through the Colo Park landscape and hoping to take home the Super 1650 class title in the ORW SCOR championship.

#416 Mark-Paul Grant's car is having its last outing with his new drive is in the process of collecting parts and under construction. The SuperLites classes, both A and B, have turned out with #676 Nathan Chievers and #630 Alex Grady fighting for honours in SuperLite B and #6628 Justin Chisholm and #6698 Matthew Wyndham battling in SuperLite A.

#919 Justin Guy, #18 Glenn Hoffman and Scott Muma #1020 are all up at the pointy end for the top spot in the ORW SCOR Master point score. Who will claim bragging rights come race end on Sunday 3rd December.
