It was a successful CAMS New South Wales Off Road Championship event for GRC Motorsport in their Can Am Maverick X3 #601, at the recent Nabiac Airport Challenge.

After 14 years of being chief pit crew, the moment had finally arrived for Greg’s son Lachlan to step into the navigator’s seat, making his debut in the off road scene. Greg and Lachlan had a great weekend with a solid field and close racing in their class to complete a wet Nabiac third outright and first in class; the perfect introduction for young Lachlan. Congratulations to Jay Neate and Alex Grady, placing second and third respectively.

The 2018 CAMS Australian Off Road Championship was capped off by a brilliant weekend at Rainbow. Greg Campbell, with Josh Bennett in the navigator’s seat, were flawless across all the three rounds of the AORC “I am stoked; to finish consecutive CAMS Australian Off Road Championships with a 100% finishing rate with a fourth outright in 2017 and with a third in class and fifth outright in 2018 is a testament to these machines. The punishment this stock Can-Am goes through out there is remarkable, and it keeps bouncing back for more; it’s been a great season,

GRC Motorsport would like to congratulate Toby Whateley for taking the class win and Jeff McNiven for second, in what has been an extremely competitive and exciting championship. 2018 has been another breakthrough season for the Can-Ams in the CAMS AORC, with three finishing in the top five outright; the GRC Motorsport team cannot wait to see what unfolds in 2019.

GRC Motorsport not only successfully completed the full three rounds of the CAMS Australian Off Road Championship and Nabiac, but they provided race support for fellow Can-Am competitors across 2018 on and off the track. GRC also continues to build cages; many customers recording impressive results to date, with both turn key, kit form and custom options available.

GRC Motorsport’s 2018 assault on the CAMS AORC would not be possible without the support of Can-Am Australia, BRP and Racewheels Australia. As the sun rises on 2019, GRC Motorsport would like to wish all their customers and supporters a happy, healthy prosperous New Year.
