The Prolite class has a history of being one of the most hotly contested in the sport. For the season opener we have three x N/A powered rockets ready to do battle for supremacy. This is going to be a close contest as all three have the capability to run away with a win

#119 – Jared Percival is a driver who needs no introduction. Fresh from wrapping up a 3rd WAORC outright crown, Percival is refreshed and ready to stomp on the loud pedal. The SS Racetech built, Toyota powered Prolite has proven to be one of the most formidable packages and will be the one to beat!

#171 – Mal Yeardley in his Carnarvon Motel Racing Bat is one driver who has the ability to match it with the big guns. Yeardley has shown over the years that he can match it with the best buggy competitors in the state regardless of what class and will have his sights set on the top of the podium

#175 – David Rowett is a young man with a lot of potential. The Inland Mechanical Racing Team have spent a lot of time tweaking and making changes to their buggy since it debuted and all of this effort could come to fruition at Perenjori. Keep an eye out for this hard charger when the chequered flag drops on Sunday afternoon
