Parilla Day 1… James, Haby, Curtis
Saturday, 04 May 2019
21 teams converged on the farming community of Parilla in the South Australian Mallee for the Symons-Clark Logistics Richard Bennett Memorial Enduro.

Aaron and Tanner James clocked in the fastest prologue time by the slimmest of margins, 0.031seconds, over Jack Rhodes and David Pullino with 12.691seconds back to Aaron and Liz Haby.

The JamesPrint Alumi Craft #93 went on to top the time sheets after the running of the two short course races to lead the field heading into the overnight break.

The two at a time start for the short course racing made for a spectacular start as Aaron James faced off with Jack Rhodes. James got the jump on Rhodes for the heat, and while chasing down James, Rhodes stopped trackside with turbo dramas. The team fixed the issue allowing Rhodes to make the start of the second short course race.

With Rhodes dropping laps, the repowered Element Off Road Racing #57 of Aaron and Liz Haby rose to the challenge and slotted into second place at the close of racing. Matt and Gary Curtis rounded out the Saturday podium.
