Update from AORRA

Competitor safety is something that AORRA is very passionate about and we are always looking at ways this can be improved. After much investigation and discussion, the decision has been made that the use of the RallySafe system will be mandatory for all competitors at National Level events (ARB Australian Off Road Racing Championship) for 2020.

The RallySafe system has many benefits for event organisers, competitors, emergency response teams, recovery teams and off road fans. It will allow live tracking of all competitors, push to pass, danger alerts and emergency notifications allowing fast response to any incident.

For more information on this system: https://rallysafe.com.au/

All entrants to these events will need to have a RallySafe instillation kit fitted to their vehicle prior to the event; the instillation is simple and can be a permanent feature in the vehicle for future events. https://shop.statusas.com/shop/rallysafe/fitting-kits/rallysafe-permanent-installation-kit-everything-you-need/

AORRA will be offering a $100 subsidy back to the first 100 competitors who purchase a kit for use in an AORRA National Event. The application form will be available at www.aorra.com.au shortly.

We are also calling for sponsors of the RallySafe event page; this will assist in keeping the cost to competitors down and allow your company to be showcased to fans following these events.
