The Ronco Motors Loveday 280 has been run and won with Garry and Tamara Turnbull going one better than their second placed position from the October event to take outright honours in near perfect racing conditions. Mother Nature turned on a slended winter weekend with chilly but sunny days.

The Turnbull duo had been tussling with Loveday 4X4 Adventure Park owner Tony Whateley and Jodie Veron #412 all weekend until brake calliper failure on the last lap saw Whateley relegated to ninth position.

Turnbull secured a 4m40.3second lead over second placed Daryl Nissen and Andrew Harness #164 who clocked in consistent lap times for the 7 laps of the 40km course.

The Bentley clan with Hayden behind the wheel and Hannah and Sam sharing the navigating duties with Nic Ganley also had a trouble free run to finish in third place and round out the Ronco Motors Loveday 280 podium.

More to come.
