Gundy Entries Opening 9am Saturday
Friday, 17 July 2020
Entries for the Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400, scheduled for the 21-23 August, will be opening tomorrow morning at 9:00am Saturday 18th July via the online event entry system.

Jamie Knight, President of the Goondiwindi Motorsports Association explained “it’s been a very difficult year for everyone and the GMA members understand and respect that. We also understand that competitors look forward to our event every year and, even though it won’t be an ARB Championship round this year, we’re planning the same standard of event.”

The event will run with the same format as 2019 including reconnaissance and scrutiny on Friday. The Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400 will be the full five laps of the 80km, while the first three laps make up the Mickey Thompson Off Road AORRA Queensland Off Road Racing Championship.

There is additional information required when completing the online entry form which will assist the event in complying with Covid-19 recommendations. This additional information is detailed on the event page [click here].

This year sees the introduction of the RallySafe status awareness, tracking and alert system to the event. Murray Rogers, Clerk of the Course said “this is massive step forward for the club and the event. RallySafe is a proven system used across the world, and given the inherent remoteness of off road racing in Australia, and as the person responsible for the well being of competitors, having RallySafe in the cars will give an extra level of safety”.

“There is obviously additional costs involved with RallySafe of which AORRA are providing a subsidy for the mounting kits for competitors and also the event related costs to reduce the burden on competitors by an increase in entry fee”.

Competitors will also need to have the RallySafe Mounting Kit installed in their competition vehicle prior to arriving at scrutiny at the event. The kit is available for purchase online from RallySafe at

“On behalf of the GMA club members, I want to thank competitors for understanding that we needed to move our date to back a week and we look forward to seeing you all in just over five weeks’ time” finished Jamie Knight.
