What a ripper weekend of off road racing at the 2020 Gotcha Glass Wynarka Enduro. The outright podium was a reflection of what lies at the heart and soul of our sport; family.

Brad Gallard maintained his day one winning run to be the first to greet the checkered flag, sharing the top honours with daughter Paris (Saturdays navigator) and son Jesse, who was in the #454 Geiser Bros Trophy Truck for today’s eight lap race. With a total race time of 2h34m35.499s, Gallard pulled a 3m28.710s lead over second placed Daryl Nissen and Andrew Harness #164.

Both Gallard and Nissen clocked in consistent lap times over the two days and 14 laps of racing through the Wynarka heartlands.

Sisters Sara (Saturday) and Tamara (Sunday) Turnbull shared the left seat of the families Jimco as Dad Garry drove a quick, yet conservative race, with finishing the end game; third place and the last podium position their reward.

The cold and wet conditions from yesterday eased off today leaving the dampened track in near perfect condition. Matt Curtis and Brad Traynor slotted the #136 GCR Rhino into fourth place with Adam Bierl and Nyree Burmingham clocking up another finish, making it two finishes from two starts in the teams recently purchased Chenowth #111.

Of the 41 teams that his the prologue track yesterday, 16 managed full race distance and saluted the checkered flag.
